FIRE DANCE HEATS LEYECO III RUBY JUBILEE
Wowww!!! Shouts and excitements filled the Luminous Gym of LEYECO III as the lights were turned off and the fire began to roll, sway, fly and surge at the hands of the Fire Dance Performers. Thrills set in as the contestants blow fire from their own mouth like a raging dragon. Tensions plugged in when fire roll around the body and different parts of the fire dancers.

“It’s the first time we have it in the coop celebration. It’s amazing. It made our Ruby Jubilee more exciting,” Board of Director Lennie Artoza commented.
The Fire Dance Contest was open to all interested dancers. It was not limited to the dancers within the coverage area of LEYECO III. Some of the contestants came from Tacloban which is already part of LEYECO II and Ormoc City which is already part of LEYECO V.
The two young boys from Ormoc City emerged as the champion as they performed the fire dance with acrobatics, daring stunts and breath-taking performance.
Asked why LEYECO III chose fire dance completion in its Ruby Jubilee, GM Allan Laniba said it is connected with the history of electric coops. Before electricity became a commodity of the common folks it was fire that lighted the countryside.
