Bringing the EC to the Community

LEYECO III LAUNCHES PEOPLE’S DAY

Capoocan, Leyte – Instead of going to the EC headquarters, it’s the LEYECO III office that went to the electric consumers through the People’s Day outreach program.

People’s Day is being launched by LEYECO III to bring the coop closer to the people. No need for the electric consumers to go to the headquarters and spent much for their transportation. In one day activity, all the manpower of the coop comprising the personnel in finance department, institutional department and technical department were at the Capoocan Central Elementary School to entertain hundreds of electric consumers who wanted to change the status of their membership, verification of their accounts, requests, complaints, and claimed their membership plastic ID and other intricacies that the consumers wanted to approach to the coop.

Through this activity, the coop can also sanitize its master list of the member-consumers. It can easily and immediately address the request and complaints of the member-consumers. Furthermore, the coop can directly get the fresh feedback, comments and recommendations from the owners of the coop – the member-consumers.

It is the first People’s Day that the coop has conducted. It will be a continuing program of the coop. It started in Capoocan which is the District 1 of LEYECO III under the leadership of Director Anunciato Encarnacion.

In the same day, the Board of Directors led by District Director Encarnacion together with the Board President Cornelio Q. Brazil, General Manager Allan L. Laniba and all board of directors distributed arm school chairs to the teachers of Capoocan. It is the fifth school that LEYECO III has donated school chairs.
